Glass Metal Design provides you with CAD detailing and drafting of Façade elements including Aluminium Windows and Doors, unitised structurally glazed curtain wall, Window wall, Shop fronts, glass roofs, rain screen cladding systems, toughened glass assemblies and more.

We prepare industry-standard professional shop drawings, containing marking plans, elevations, sections details, and Window schedules. To ensure seamless, on-time delivery of shop drawing documentation, we liaise with builders, architects, façade engineers and project managers, on your behalf.

We have a multidisciplinary / diverse experience working in sectors of the façade construction industry like Commercial, residential including apartments, education, student accommodation, healthcare, Aged Care, Art and craft, Retail, sports, leisure, hospitality & more. All our senior drafting staff have minimum 15 years of continuous experience in façade detailing and drafting.

We have also a built a reputation to provide bespoke design for unique special projects like Glass floors, glass bridges, suspended glass canopies, sloped curtainwalls and more. Please visit our special projects section for more information

Through our associate engineering partners, we can provide you a package deal of shop drawing and engineering services. The engineering ervices can include thermal & structural and our additional shop drawing services can include design in principle drawings, fabrication drawings, glass chedules, documentation for compliance with the FP1.4 weatherproofing code and more.
